Notes from the Webmaster to ALL Citizens
Just a few things I would like to pass on to everyone.
#1 GET YOURSELF, AND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS ON OUR EMAIL LIST!!!!
This Elk Camp Website is open only to hunters of the Sleezeville Camp and surrounding camps in the our valley home .
If you, or any family members, or friends, that you would like to submit, to be put on the Elk Camp Website email list - please send me that info. I am putting together a list of emails. That way, when I update the site, I can email all of you and let you know what is new. Whether it is a new story, picture, maybe a whole new page (like this one). (SEE EMAIL LINK - BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE)
#2 This website is to be "interactive" meaning that the website "belongs to ALL OF YOU!" So, PLEASE communicate with me on anything that you wish to. New Pictures, stories, comments etc. I am just here to put these things into the website for YOU. I have provided a email link on most of the web pages - just click on it to send me any info you may wish to.
For Example: Hair Bear just sent me info on "elk calls" from a website he found - I haven't had a chance to check this all out yet - but I surely will get-on-it real soon. He also provided info, to me, on some errors he found in the website when he went online and looked at it. This is the stuff I'm talking about regarding you guys being "interactive and communicating".
#3 PICTURES: If you have an old picture that was taken before our digital camera era - feel free to mail it to me (send me an email and I will send you mailing info - I DO NOT put this info online) I will scan the photo and mail it back. If you could provide a return envelope that is addressed back to you, and the return postage applied, I would GREATLY appreciate it.
Note to you: 12/5/05
Pictures that are NOW on this site. Due to limited space on the server, I have had to take down the picture pixel quality to a lower level. I wanted to keep them high, so if someone wanted to print off photo's they would be of high quality, but the files are to big. So, if you want to print any of these photo's, let me know by phone or email. I can email a full pixel photo copy by email or put them on a CD for you.
#4 STORIES: Don't worry about proper spelling, punctuation etc. when sending in your "stories" for the Guys Story pages. I don't mind proof reading and correcting errors before they are published to the web. Remember I used to be a secretary!
#5 ELK PICTURES: I will be setting up a page of "Elk Taken in Camp". If you have pictures of someone, with their elk, and you would like to be on this page - send picture, person's name (& nickname), camp or village name and photo's date etc.
